Quick Update - Life Goes On

Whether many of us like to admit it or not we are all somewhat slaves to a routine.  If we were to take a few moments to think about it I think we would all have to agree.  We rise each morning and for the most part each day we go through the same motions.  It is when the unexpected comes and changes the routine that we seem to notice it best.

As of late I have been absent from the blog world and have not had much of any time to keep up with my posts or the many blogs I love to follow.  I wish I could say that I have been festive and bobbing around with holiday doings.  Yet this is not the case.

Without getting into the entire drawn out details... I have been tending to my oldest son.  It is funny how to a mother her children forever remain just that... her children.  He is a 6'3" boy of 27 yet still to me he is my little boy.  He is going through a rough patch in his life right now and being the protective mother hen that I am, I am close by just in case he needs me.

I am hoping to get back to a somewhat regular schedule this next week and hope to update myself slowly with the many posts I am sure I have missed as well as a little writing myself.  It is a great therapy for me so it is something I am looking forward to.

I  hope that this Sunday finds you well and enjoying this holiday season.  Many of you I know are probably buried in snow.  Old man Winter has made an early entrance for many.  We have only been blessed with his wonderful cold air and strong winds thus far.  And really I can not complain much about that as it has been relatively warm most of this month and last.  Yet Yule is still a bit over a week away so there is much more to come.

Have a blessed Sunday.

I must say, I was wondering what was going on to keep you away from your blog. Certainly, being a mother comes first and lasts forever. Blessings to you and your son. Hope things get better.

Our children are never too old to need their mother. Mine are 28 and 31 yet they are forever 15 to me. How wonderful he has you. Take care. We will all be here when you can make it.

I feel like I've been somewhat "absent" from visiting the places I love, as well...but it's so true that life goes on and we need to be there for the ones we love...be present :D Sending positive vibes your way, my friend and hope that all turns out well. (p.s...thank you so much for the card-it meant so much to me-brightened my day!)

Janie...sorry to hear your son is going thru a rough patch but I know with a Momma like you in his corner things will turn around. Of course we must put family first. We totally understand. It was a blessing and relief to hear your voice today tho, as I've been wondering about you. I am glad you aren't experiencing the bitter cold we are having here...it is supposed to be -15 here tonight...brrrr! Winter has arrived full force!
Sending positive energy your way Dear Friend for You and Your Family...May Peace Prevail in Your Hearts and Home.
Love You!

While you have been missed, you must tend to family first. Your son needs you - and that is where you should be. :) But I am happy to hear from you. :) This winter season is coming on us fast, indeed. There is so much to do and so little time! I wish I could say we had some snow, but we are experiencing storms mostly of the rain and wind variety. My fingers are crossed for just a little snow. Take care and welcome back! Theresa

Take all the time in the world, for your baby needs you. I've been sailing in the same boat. Since my mom moved to the US my blogging has diminished. She is getting used to the new country, so I'll get back in track too, but when she needed me (when she cried because she was homesick and missed her friends) I was there for her and didn't blog for a while.

Hope your baby is doing better...

I totally understand. My oldest daughter-28 is not speaking to anyone right now. My son 24 has recently moved back home. Something I had hoped for for over 2 years, but you know what they say about be careful what you wish for....basically he is the same as he was at 17, lazy, sloppy and a total mooch and manipulator. I love him to pieces, but he has always drained all of my energy since he was a child. without going into all the details.

My heart and soul go out to you and your son! whatever the issue is, i hope you can work through it together, and it doesn't tear at the relationship. Positive energy been sent your way.

Bright and warm Blessings (and gentle hugs)
Susan

(ps...I rec'd your wonderful tea package-Thank you, i love it..chat more later)

My late twenties were a real transition period too. With a mom like you, he will certainly get through this and come out stronger on the other side.

Hugs and blessings to you both!
