Twelve Days of Christmas - Six Geese A Laying

On the Sixth day of Christmas
My true love gave to me
Six Geese a laying
Not sure what one would do with 6 geese.
Yet I am sure in the time that this was written
six geese could come in quite handy...

Also there is nothing like a nice roasted goose
for Christmas morning dinner.
A nice diversion from the regular turkey or ham.

Only 6 more days til Christmas morn.

Don't even ask about the time I tried roasting a goose. Not a pretty sight.

You could use them as "guard geese." They can be quite vicious and effective against intruders!

Hi Janie.
I have been catching up on reading my favorite blogs. I've missed much by many. As always, everything you've posted has been interesting and fun.
I send belated birthday wishes to your Vincent. I just love the story of how you two ended up together.
Your twelve days of Christmas posts are fun ~ I am enjoying the pictures as well as the things you are writing.
WOW! Some of the things on your LIST amazed me. I don't think I ever wrote one of those lists because I always thought in the back of my mind that I would never do most of them. You have proved that you can do things if you set your mind to it. So, I AM going to write one. Thanks, Janie.
Janie, you have 399 followers. Are you going to send emails to all of them?? (: You know what? It wouldn't surprise me. You have a really big heart.
I think you have mine, but just in case:

I better stop ~ taking up too much room.
Janie, I wish you and yours a Happy Merry Christmas filled with all the blessings of the season! It has been a joy getting to know you.

Well, some geese do lay golden eggs, so if they're that type of geese, where do I sign up to get them? ;) I know there would also be a lot of cleaning up to do after-wards.

Hi, I have just found your blog and have been reading your entry for Tuesday, March 16, 2010. How wonderful to find another soul that thinks the way I do. I came rather late to Paganism but when I did I knew that I had been a Pagan all of my life without realising it.
Thankyou for putting it down in word that I could not.
