How It Snows In Oklahoma

Thought I would share a picture with you.... to sort of give you an idea of the how snow looks in Oklahoma... Anyone who lives where it is flat and there is the potential of high winds knows exactly what I mean..... Took this picture when Vince and I got out to survey the results of the 14 inches of snow mixed with our high winds.... Needless to say it took this fellow a few days before he could dig is truck out....

That is some picture. I live in WV and we have hills, but the last snowstorm was the worsed we had in a decade. I live close to the city and that is why we have not seen that much snow in awhile. Love the color of that truck.

Last week we had 26" in one night here in NY with high winds too. The weather this year is nuts.

I just missed all that snow around Tulsa since I went to Texas for the holidays but poor hubbahubby had to work and ended up being snowed in for a few days. I'm hoping I can drive back through it all this coming weekend. EEKS!!!

The snow is a strange critter when combined with wind. My first husband was from Canyon Texas, near Amarillo. We got caught in a couple of storms which blew snow so high we couldn't get out of his parents house. There really wasn't that much snow, if it had fallen straight down but..... One year we had to go out the second story window in order to get to the barn. Nuts. Thanks for sharing the photo. Too much.
