A Bit of A Detour

Well it is Thursday and the week is just about over.. Seems to have flown by and I do not feel that I have acheived all the things I was wanting to. Yet I have learned to not fret too much about such things as what can you really do about it.  I know that the main reason I do not feel as productive is that I have taken on a few other things and don't realize that I have my finger in more pots than I care to admit.  Yet I like it that way and know that I will stir even more as the weather warms.

Today I am meeting with my sons fiance to help with planning their wedding in October.  I do not exactly know how much time this will end up taking from me yet it is something that I want very much to be a part of.  With that said I have decided to point you into the direction of another blog which I am a part of Ewitch.  Today I posted my "coming out" story which really I have never thought of it that way.  I think of it more like an evolution.  I was always that child that constantly wondered and often asked "Why?".

So I invite you to share in The Spiritual Evolution of Me.  Enjoy

Beautiful story. Our paths take so many turns, don't they. I tried to comment on ewitch, but was unable to. The word verification was cut in half. No space to write it in.

The word verification didn't work on the "coming out" page, so I'll have to put my words here. :)

Thank you so much for sharing!

Reading your text I realized how differently the matters of belief are considered in America and here in Europe. It seems to me that we are much more free to believe in what we choose, without any moral oppression from anybody. Even the very word "pagan" has lost most of it's negative connotations.

Good luck with your journey! :)

Those of us with a free spirit are more likely to seek the truth. Many lack the courage and thus are willing to accept half-truths. X.

I'm going to go read now. Before I do though, I have to confess I still haven't "come out" to my family. One cousin of mine I have. Another I briefly talked about it with. But that's it. I shy away from the disappointment and hurt they would have, and the lengths of explanations they would want. *gets tired just thinking about it* That said, off to read!

I can't believe how fast this week is going. It seems like yesterday was Monday and now tomorrow is Friday. Yet Spring seems to be forever getting here. You have to keep us posted on the wedding plans. So much fun....

eWitch is evolving nicely! I'm hoping to become more involved soon. I'm retiring from my Simply Femme blog and I might even retire from my Holistic blog, although I really love it. It's just so much work.

So believe me, I understand.

Loved your spiritual evolution, btw. :)
